On August 2nd, B&W Trailer Rentals, an American Trailer Rental Group (ATRG) company, was presented a New Supplier award at the 2023 Honda North American Indirect Procurement Supplier Conference in Columbus, Ohio. This award recognizes new suppliers who have “demonstrated outstanding implementation practices and provided value-based products, services, and programs.” B&W was one of the 28 suppliers selected from more than 6,000 North American suppliers! The honorees represent an extensive network of North American suppliers critical to Honda’s U.S. business operations. According to Honda, in 2022, indirect purchasing for business and manufacturing operations across North America totaled $5.3 billion.
Jeremy Fairman is the B&W General Manager of our location in Burlington, NC, and he and his team are the reason we received this award. When asked about the award and how Jeremy and the team achieved this, Jeremy said, “It was definitely a team effort from everyone here, including our coordinators, mechanics, managers, as well as our vendors. A quote that I have always liked from Harry Truman is, ‘It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.’ We are a humble group that shares in both the successes and frustrations of our business.” We are lucky to have Jeremy as such an integral part of our team. He is a great example of what it means to have a “can-do attitude!”
