Now that summer is in full swing, are you stuck trying to find a buyer for the old trailers within your fleet? If so, we have good news for you! American Trailer Rental Group (ATRG) wants to buy your old, outdated trailers from your fleet to make room for those flashy new units that would look great in the summer sun. Get rid of your old inventory for money, money, money!
Whether you have an entire lot that you’re looking to ditch before vacation or one trailer that you’re dying to get rid of, we are always in the market to buy whatever you’re willing to sell. No fleet is ever too big or too small for ATRG!
53’ dry van trailers with aluminum roofs are the most preferred option, but we also consider 48’ dry vans with translucent roofing. Trailers need to be in decent condition and within the 10-20 year age range. If your trailer was made after 2000, give us a call! We will accept trailers from any manufacturer.
Once you’ve decided you’re ready to offload some trailers, email Rob Pixler at rpixler@americantrg.com. Include the make, model, and year of your trailer(s), the quantity, and pictures of the trailers so we can see what you want to sell. Our team will get in touch with you within 3-5 business days to discuss the specifics of your fleet and determine whether or not we want to move forward with purchasing.
Once you’ve set up an on-site inspection, one of our procurement specialists will visit your trailer on site to inspect the overall condition of your trailers. If you can’t find time in your busy schedule, don’t worry! You do not have to be present at the on-site inspection. Once price is agreed upon, the owner will provide ATRG with a formalized purchase agreement in the form of an invoice. Lastly, you will need to send all signed trailer titles to ATRG. After that, we’ll work on getting you paid either by mailed check or 24-48 hour wire transfer.
No matter the time of year, whenever you find yourself needing to sell a trailer, give us a call! Do your trailers not fit our specifications? Go ahead and contact us. If we can use your trailers in our fleet, we’ll be sure to reach out to you.
ATRG is always looking to purchase trailers to meet our growing demand. Next time you’re in the market to sell or rent a trailer, we hope that you’ll give American Trailer Rental Group a call. We’re looking forward to helping you beat the heat soon and getting some money in your pocket!
